How Humans Effect Eachother
Without nurture, humans are missing an essential part of themselves. We need human contact and we need experiences to learn from. Humans cannot rely only on nature, the importance of nurture is very significant. If you do not give a baby nurture then it cannot learn some of the human qualities that we all grow up to understand. This is why neglect falls into the category of abuse. Neglecting a child can cause just as much damage as physical or mental abuse.

Nurture cannot be emphasized enought. But it's odd how society emphasizes nurturing at a young age but sort of shuns it as you get old. You don't want to be that 10 year old who gives your mom a hug after she drops you off, b/c you'll be seen as un-cool. Again referring to Morrie we need human interaction most betweent the time we are born and die. However, we rarely get that. This is due to the fact of what's culturally right and wrong. It is culturally wrong to live with your parents after college, but yet they still give you that nurture that is neccessary at age 22. Its weird, but we all need nurture.
